Stonefish BrigadeStonefish Brigade are releasing their second album, Shackles Undone, on CCAP 8. September 2008.
Stonefish Brigade are from the Stavanger area in Norway and delivers a package of folkrock, country and stonefish melancholica. The second album is titled “Shackles undone”, and “Houselord” is picked as the single. On “Houselord” you can hear some of the elements that defines the sound of Stonefish Brigade; flutes and accordion on top with sometimes an Irish twist, Mortens vocal on top with his particular voice, and this complemented with guitar, banjo, bass and drums.

POP08Pop08 will be released in Norway 25. August. The album will also be available as mail order and digital download through
Musiconline, and digitally through iTunes and more shortly. Due to prior contractual obligations some of the tracks will only be available as a part of a full-album download ("bundle"), not as single tracks.
We have gathered 26 tracks from 26 local artists on a double-cd (priced as a single cd). The idea behind the project is to increase the interest in, knowledge of and use of music and artists from the
Stavanger region.
The project has been sponsored by
Stavanger 2008, which has enabled us to make this album available for free to all
10th graders in
Rogaland county.
