The release will be backed by a tour of both Norway and Europe. The new album is vintage Helldorado: It oozes of sorrow, sin, sex and pain, The band evokes the sensation of a burning sun on your neck, crunched sand between your teeth, a salty taste on your lips, a shaky finger on the trigger of a Colt 45, circling vultures silhouetted against a blue-white sky, a double whiskey on an empty stomach, and the smell of bacon, beans, gunpowder, leather & sweat. There is strong tradition of combining blues, country, rock and hardboiled crime. Murder, prison, crime, confession, remorse and punishment runs like a dark stream through the music of Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Nick Cave and Stan Ridgeway among others. Helldorado brings this tradition into the new century. Heldorado gives you the music, colours, smells and atmosphere usually connected with the image of southern USA and Mexico. As on their previous albums Helldorado presents filmatic music inspired by Morricone and Tarrantino, epic and dramatic murder ballads, Americana, and Rock Noir. Strings and a horn section is added to spice it up. Under the open sky, the wide and burning hot desert landscapes, Helldorados faithless characters burn holes in their souls.

(scroll down for bio / info in Norwegian) April 5th 2013 sees the release of the EP 'Brooklyn' by Poor Edward, recorded in Braund Sound studio in New York summer of 2012. This release is a step aside from the folk/americana-sound that mainly influenced their previous work. The harmonies, the lyrics and the acoustic guitars are still the most important elements in Poor Edwards music, but this time around there is room for something more as well, such as electronic elements, loops, programmed drums and synths. Poor Edward is the duo consisting of Martin and Kristian Tungland Rinde; two brothers from Stavanger, Norway. Writing and performing their own songs, Poor Edward can be classified as a mixture of pop and rock with notable folk/americana tendencies. Their trademark is a guitar and vocals sound, largely focused on lyrics and harmony. The music is melodious, sometimes melancholy, often understated and always authentic. The duo explores the unique dynamics that exist between brothers, for better or worse. Their work live and recorded bears witness to mature reflection and heartfelt emotion of their relationships.
Poor Edward convey’s a sense of life's extremes; of grief, happiness – and hope. Spiced with a touch of dry humour, Poor Edward's music is personal and appealing, yet not invading. Their songs carry the sound of life lived, true stories told earnestly without affectation. When asked about their inspiration, the duo draws influence from artists such as The Everly Brothers via The Jayhawks to Beck and Calexico. Since 2006, Poor Edward has completed several tours around Norway, both as an acoustic duo and with their backing band. The band has gained a solid and varied live experience through the years, having played over a hundred shows at all kinds of venues throughout Norway, including clubs, music halls and festivals. Poor Edward has also done several supporting gigs for well established artists like Lissie (US), Beach House (US) and norwegian artists like CC Cowboys and Ida Jenshus. They released their first full length album, 'Time Is Gonna Change You', in november 2011.
The album was well received by music press and critics, leading to a broader span of attention. Several songs from the album also received considerable airplay on norwegian national radio. The release was followed by an extensive tour in January and February 2012. Poor Edward has also released the EP's 'Summerrain' (2008) and 'Soldiers & Sundays' (2009). Discography: • Summerrain (EP 2008)
• Soldiers & Sundays (EP 2009)
• Look To The Sky (7'' single 2011)
• Time Is Gonna Change You (Album 2011)
• Keeping Track (single 2012) • Brooklyn (EP 2013)
De slapp sitt debutalbum – 'Time Is Gonna Change You' – i november 2011.

(scroll down for info in Norwegian) “I Don't Like You”, with its explicit title, is a (provokingly) catchy pop-tune from Elise Vatsvaag within the genre of indiepop/electronica. For the first time ever, Vatsvaag has worked with producer and fellow band member Simen Ytre-Arne, and together they have created a vibrant soundscape with tasteful references. The song is loaded with subtle hooks, and while “I Don't Like You” proves to to be the most upbeat single from Vatsvaag so far, it still strikes a melancholic tone – a seemingly familiar feature in Vatsvaag's music. Norwegian artist Elise Vatsvaag has created her own original and captivating sound while rubbing sonic shoulders with the likes of Swedish heroines such as Lykke Li, Veronica Maggio and Robyn. Elise’s collection of songs «This Is Not My Music» was released throughout 2012, and offered a glimpse of this young singer-songwriter’s burgeoning talents. The freshly baked 2013-single «I Don't Like You» proves that Vatsvaag has barely just begun.
