A new year is just around the corner and it´s time for a big THANK YOU to all the artists we´ve been involved with in 2012, and all the music lovers out there who´s streamed, bought and listened to our music.

We´ve put together a playlist with some of the highlights of 2012, as well as a couple of Top 10 lists for those who might be interested

CCAP X-MAS PLAYLIST

CCAP X-MAS COLLECTION
Yes, it´s that time of the year again.
From all of us to all of you, a slightly alternative x-mas collection.

Some of these tracks were first released in 2004 on the "(Not Just) Another X-Mas Album". Thirteen of the fifteen tracks on the compilation was specifically written for this compilation. Use the "buy" link to check out the rest of the album on iTunes.

As a bonus we´ve added two tracks from 2010 and 2011: Kitchen Orchestra´s collaborations with Pål Jackman and Janove Ottesen. Both these tracks are released on beautiful colored 7" vinylsingles with handprinted covers. (the tracks are also available for streaming and download through Spotify, Wimp, Amazon, 7-Digital, iTunes etc)

The latest addition to this playlist is the new single from Elise Vatsvaag: December. Not a x-mas track per se, but the title and the track fits nicely with the rest of the tracks

CCAP new tracks June 2011 by CCAP


The new The List minialbum, «Come On, Twentyseven» is now available through Spotify, Wimp, Platekompaniet, CDON, Amazon etc. Sebastian Waldejer´s new single «We Never Geat Away Anymore» will be available digitally and on a lovey 7» vinyl including b-side «The Ocean Is Full Of Tears». The 7» is beautifully packet in a Stumptown Printers Arigato cover, design and handprint by Kjetil Brandsdal. Release next week.

Two new tracks on NRK P1 playlist

We´ve been on a long and (we believe) well deserved vacation. We are now back at the office, working our way through the inbox and preparing new releases.
While we´ve been away two recent releases have entered the NRK P1 charts (Norwegian Public Broadcasting, the largest radiostation in Norway).

On dreary days when everything seems blasé, Elise Vatsvaag’s flirtatious voice and playful lyrics are a pick-me-up. The small-framed Norwegian singer-songwriter has been compared to Ingrid Michaelson and Katie Melua for her style and songwriting prowess, but her unique charm is the result of her innocent outlook on life and youthful zest. In 2009 Elise signed with the Norwegian management company Great Moments, and since then she has grown to be among one of the most interesting up-and-coming artists in the west coast area of Norway. In January 2011 Elise Vatsvaag moved to New York City in order to work on her debut album.
